There is a wide, flat, shady camping area over the river, away from the powered sites and cabins. The bridge is directly opposite the amenities block, so it is not far to the toilets etc. ( Book on (03) 5963 3443 or e-mail us )
Campfires are permitted in most of the park ( when the seasonal fire restrictions allow ) but must be set in the supplied containers and the camping area probably has the best places to enjoy this activity which is considered by many as an essential part of camping.
